This building, perched on wood piles, remains challenging to draw and paint even after many repeats. Today the tide is out so that the piles are exposed and the ramp to the airplane docks slopes down significantly.

Some day when the weather conditions are favourably I will move onto the crabbing pier, to get a different view that includes the floatplanes. Usually there is either a cold wind coming of the ocean and/or one bakes in the sun on this pier.
