Today, a different version of yesterday’s subject was developed on a quarter sheet of water colour paper with an arbitrary “correction” to the strong perspective of the roofline. This to diminish the wide-angle lens effect.
Alternatively, one could take a photograph a further distance away from the subject. In this case, to increase the distance, it would involve removing the buildings across the street first. However, these are the buildings that were the subject of my blog of a few weeks ago: “Sunday Afternoon”; can’t do that.
The surface of the street could be a bit darker as it looks like it snowed here. Not good; we usually have rain at this time of the year, and lots of it.
I think that this edition could be a good starting point to try and complete this project with, using a half sheet size for the final picture.
