Plein-air pen and wash on paper

Just trucking along Haliburton  Street to make a quick sketch of the old Methodist Church, now used as a community centre.

A sharpie pen drawing on thick paper with a glossy surface, finished with a wash using watercolor markers from Winsor & Newton, with a Pentel brush pen to add water. These markers don’t work very well for me on watercolor paper, but are nice to have if one likes to travel light and make quick sketches. Colors from these markers show up very bright on shiny surfaces and are fun to play with in this fashion.
