Plein-air pen and wash on paper

Coffee and Donuts

For day 3 of #OneWeek100People2017 event I went to Tim Horton. Today’s sketches were made from a vantage point in the corner of a donut shop. This allowed me to draw people standing up as well as sitting down.

The lineup  moves faster than you think, but eventually you get the hang of it. Better yet, I really start to enjoy this people sketching; it is quite intense and you are forced to focus as time flies. Only once a person was curious enough to see what I was doing.

These were made on glossy paper with a water-soluble ink pen and a pentel water brush.
