Sketch-It

Plein-air pen and wash on paper

Buttertubs

Another sketch with a view across Buttertubs from the same bench used previously, and probably not the last time. It is nice to relax in this urban nature sanctuary. Particularly this time of the year when the birds are active or noisy, especially the blackbirds. There was a trumpeter swan, a blue heron and of course painted turtles sitting in single file on a floating log.

Dogs and bikes etc are not allowed in this park, so I tied up my bike at the fence, close to where I was sitting so that I could keep an eye on it.
