Terrasse Dufferin is the large plaza along the Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City with spectacular views over part of the old City and the St. Laurens River; not surprising that it is always busy with visitors. I was sitting at the far end in the shade of a canopy to make a pen sketch that I finished today with some water colours.
It is amazing how many photographs are made, it is almost non-stop. Some tourists seem to practice individual and group poses, taking turns using their camera; not to mention thousands of selfies.
When I took some shots of a large container ship sailing by on the St. Laurens, somebody offered to make a picture with me in it. When I politely declined they seemed surprised and looked me over pitying this odd individual who records scenery only.
